Toy Dog Rescue of Austin is a completely volunteer group and relies on donations to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs. Our dogs live in foster homes from the time they come to us until they are adopted. Potential adopters are screened to assure our dogs go to loving forever homes. If at any time the adoptive family finds itself unable to care for their dog, we take the dog back for them. None of our dogs end up in shelters. We commit to them for life.

Your donation will go to the care of the dogs. No member of TDRA receives a salary or any kind of compensation for what s/he does for the organization. All funds go to the needs of the dogs.

In addition to fostering volunteer opportunities include conducting adoption events, fundraising, event planning, recruiting volunteers, solicitating donations and other activities that help get our dogs into forever homes.
